Automated NPCs that mine ore and collect drops.

What Is Known
Employees have two independent axes of effectiveness:
- Mining speed (
mining_speedin EmployeeLevel resource) — controls animation playback speed, i.e. swings per second. Fixed by tier. Ranges roughly from ~0.5 (intern) to ~1.6 (senior VP). - Swing damage — base damage per swing, upgradeable via the Employee Miner Damage passive (+2% per pick).
Employee Miner Speed passive does NOT increase swing speed.
It increases movement speed between ore targets. See the FAQ for details.
Employee Types
Two employee types exist:
- Miners — actively attack ore blocks. Use
multi_miner.gd(ground) ormulti_miner_flying.gd(flying). - Collectors — pick up dropped ore and return it. Speed and carry capacity upgradeable via passives.
