Stacking formula: Stat bonus = picks × base_per_pick × passive_multiplier.
The multiplier comes from the chest's loot level (see Chest Loot). A level-12 chest gives ×144 — meaning a single pick of a 5%-base passive grants +720%.

Non-Obvious Passives

⚠️ Gun Recoil — increases recoil, not reduces it.
Despite the name, this passive makes guns kick harder. Players deliberately stack it to gain extra jump height by firing while airborne (gun knockback launches you upward). Base per pick: +10%.
⚠️ Employee Miner Speed — movement speed, NOT swing speed.
This passive increases how fast miners walk/fly between ore targets. It has zero effect while a miner is actively swinging at a block. Swing speed is fixed by the employee's tier (mining_speed in their EmployeeLevel resource). Base per pick: +5%.
